Hello Dylan, i dont know if you know this lot but im sure you'll get along fine.

I'm opinionated and argumentative, so I get on fine (most of the time) with Dave and Tom. Is 'Bath is shit, London is wonderful' Anil on here?

Anil vowed never to come back - for all I know, he's (back) in Sri Lanka. I'm looking forward to your display of argumentative opinions. You can say whatever you like, unless it involves the Almighty's gentitalia, as far as I can make out.

No, that was another JC. Only just read that, just proves that satnavs just turn drivers into complete morons. I'm sticking to my £1.99 UK roadmap, gets me to where I want to go, and does not talk in a bossy voice.

I really didn't want to quote the following on the Chronic In response to your observation of Tory hopefuls for Bath: Fabian Richter a Gay German. They know how to get it wrong in Bath, don't they.

See Dave, I feed you the line, and you can expand on Dons expenses. Simples! Mind you, if MP's were like the rest of us, I expect the cost of them using hotels and restaurants would be even greater than what many claim now for second homes. The Civil service used to offer fixed rate overnight allowances, so by using takeaways and cheap B&B's you could make a few £££'s. Once all expenses had to be receipted, the costs soared as proper hotels were used, and meals were taken in restaurants.
Despite that, like most of the Lib Dem MP's, he is actually quite restrained in milking the system. Then again, Don does not seem like a man with a moat, duck house, bell tower or porn channels. No great fan of any of the candidates, but Fabian does seem a complete & utter tosser, and Don is the lesser of two evils.

I agree with you Dylan. When I worked up at Foxhill in the early seventies the expenses system was very difficult to abuse.

However, it's not the detailed items that they have all claimed for that gets up my nose, it's the fact that they all voted for a secret system they new was corrupt. They have, quite literally destroyed our political structure with their skull duggery, and you have summed it up with your comment....the lesser of two evils
