The only thing i find unmissable is the Tudors, (ohhh yeeeeahhhh!) and Ideal. Which isn't actually on at the moment, more's the pity.

I thought I would like the Tudors but I just couldn't get my head round the extremely fit, sexy, hunky Henry 8th, who in reality was surely some vile, enormous, odious, syphilis ridden nutter with rotting teeth and most likely appalling flatulence. I like my evil Tudor kings without the frills, so to speak.

Could never get into Ideal, probably too wrecked by the time that came on the telly

Lost when's that back on? And looking forward to Larkrise to Candleford again, really enjoyed Desperate Romantics which finsihed a couple'a weeks ago, with that very nice young man Aidan someone-or-other who was also in Being Human which was also brilliant.

Yes, apparently when Henry VIII had the jousting accident which caused his ulcerated legs and prevented him from doing sports also damaged his frontal lobe and caused him to have a complete personality change.

I thought he contracted syphilis quite early in life which had a huge impact on his sanity, as it is a disease which slowly drives you mad apparently
