Had a drink with Tom last weekend. He's been very busy carving some enormous head resembling old Neptune for some rather rich guy, and his lovely lady has an exhibition of her paintings here in Bath. So he's been rather out of touch with the outside world, as have I. My problem is I came out of retirement to build a fifty five foot narrowboat. The mind says I can do it, the body seems to think a little differently. You never know you may see Tom and me in a few months time sailing up the K & A in a black and cream boat with a bloody great curly haired granite head on top covered in fine art canvasses.

Anyway, will attempt to get on here a little more often than once a quarter, if only to bore you all to death.

Just to really bore you, here's a couple of pics of the reason you 'ain't heard much from me over the past couple of months.

The client wants to call her 'because...' I suggested a pint of Guinness. Stupid cow thought I meant as a name.

Naw, I'm shy. Can it have hundreds and thousands and a candle. I'm beginning to get an interest. I don't like raisins or currents or that 'orrible false cream stuff. Oh yea! I can't stand them glaced cherry thingies. Get stuck in me beard. Nuts is out. Catch in me false tooth. Can't handle chocolate. Makes me really randy. Coconut gives me fits and citrus fruit makes me wee. I'm allergic to milky stuff and flour gives me galloping Chinese foot rot.

Wot about a boat for a sausage roll? Nearly forgot, can't handle poof pastry, makes me shirts lift.

Bag a crisps? Bit too greasy for the Y fronts. Might settle for twelve bars of Cadbury's fruit & nut though.
